Vintage Canadian ads for Beatles' records & memorabilia

In 1964 there was no internet and while television was well established and influential, print media such as magazines and especially newspapers, were an affordable and proven advertising format.

From the highs of Beatlemania in 1964 and 1965 and right through to the 1980's Canadian newspapers and magazines carried a wide range of advertisements for Beatles' records and memorabilia that are an interesting collecting niche.

"The Beatles First American Concert, Washington D.C.
United Artists "A Hard Day's Night" was available in stereo and cost $1 more than mono.

In the early 1960's advertisements focused not only on records but also on everything from pens to magazines to buttons to binders to sneakers to clothes, etc. Later in the decade as "Beatlemania" faded "memorabilia" type items disappeared from ads which were more focused on vinyl LP's, although ads for posters, especially in magazines, remained common.
