Beatles' Canadian promotional label 45 RPM

The most sought after Canadian 45 RPM with a special promotional label is the white labeled "Penny Lane / Strawberry Fields" which is addressed in a previous blog:

Below is a stock copy of Capitol 2056 "Hello Goodbye" with a "Not For Sale / Echantillon" stamp on the label. It is unlikely the stamp was applied by Capitol or the RCA pressing plant. I am unaware of another Capitol swirl with a similar stamp making it likely this one was applied by a third party.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation compiled a vast library of vinyl records. I am unsure if the CBC purchased the records or received them as a promotion. The "Lady Madonna" below is a stock copy with a CBC library reference sticker on the label.

Below is a copy of Hey Jude, pressed by RCA, with a promotional sticker. I am unaware of another copy or any other Canadian Apple disc with this sticker as it was not Capitol's or the pressing plant's habit to affix them to records. It is likely this sticker is unofficial and applied by a third party.

Capitol Canada has issued a number of special label promotional 45 RPM.

Capitol Canada 8506  "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" Pressed with a white label. Mono/stereo

Capitol Canada PRO 8901 "Sgt. Pepper/With a Little Help From My Friends". Pressed with a white label. Mono/stereo

Capitol Canada B 5100 "Movie Medley/Fab Four On Film'. Pressed with a white label.

"On Air - Live at the BBC Volume 2" is a five song promotional sampler E.P. issued in 2013 in support of the L.P. of the same name. The E.P. was housed in a custom card sleeve and was given away with the purchase of the album at HMV stores in Canada. More than likely it was pressed in the E.U. and imported into Canada. The label states: "For Promotional Use Only Not For Sale"

All four promotional releases in near mint condition have a value between $30 and $50 each.
