This sleeve has been counterfeited on an inferior paper. Buyer beware!
During the same time period a number of Canadian non-Beatles Apple releases were released in a white sleeve with just the word "Apple". The initial pressing of the Beatles' last single "The Long and Winding Road" was issued in this sleeve.
I can't honestly say that back in '68 I ever saw "Hey Jude" with a white Apple sleeve. Every single one I saw had the glossy black sleeve. The same goes for Compo pressings of "Get Back".
