Released in September 1965. On the earliest pressings there are no brackets around the word CANADA in the rim text.
The first few thousand copies came in an imported U.S. East Coast picture sleeve. The remaining discs were housed in Capitol's new company sleeve with "Capitol Records" printed diagonally on a white background.
The release was a number one hit across Canada. "Yesterday" went on to become the most recorded song of all time.
A near mint copy of the 45 RPM sells in the $25 to $45 range.
A near mint copy of the picture sleeve only sells in the $85 to $115 range.
