Between 1968 and 1970 six Beatles' 45 RPM on the Apple label were released in Canada. As Capitol of Canada did not have their own pressing plant they contracted RCA and Compo to press their records.
Apple 2276 - "Hey Jude/Revolution" was pressed by both Compo and RCA. The Compo label used a thick font while the font on the RCA label is noticeably thinner. The difference in fonts is the main way to distinguish between a Compo and an RCA pressing.
Apple 2490 - "Get Back/Don't Let Me Down" was pressed by both Compo and RCA. and display different fonts. In addition on the Compo A -side the word "Stereo" is located on the top left of the label while on the RCA stereo is located on the bottom right of the label. Most discs were pressed by Compo making the RCA issue much harder to find.
