Decca 31382 My Bonnie/The Saints: Tony Sheridan and the Beat Brothers

The Canadian Decca 31382 is a rare pressing sought after by collectors.  It is generally believed only 200 copies were pressed by Compo for Decca and approximately only 12 copies are known to exist.

The record was issued in April, 1962 with both sides credited to Tony Sheridan and the Beat Brothers.  The disc was distributed in a standard Decca company sleeve with some sleeves stamped in blue ink with, "SAMPLE COPY NOT FOR SALE".

Below are a few recent sales of this rare disc.  If you want to add this item to your collection and can find one, be prepared to pay between $3,000 to $5,000 U.S. for a decent copy.

  • 2019 a VG copy sold for $3,150 U.S.
  • 2018 a VG/VG+ copy sold for $2,789 U.S.
  • 2016 sold by a well known US Beatles dealer for $8,650 U.S.
  • 2014 a VG++ copy sold for $3,049 U.S.

 A counterfeit that uses the Canadian label style but with U.S. manufacturing rim print exists and currently sells in the $90 - $120 range.
