Apple SO-385 "The Beatles Again" was released in late February, 1970. Within a month the title was changed to "Hey Jude" and assigned the catalogue number Apple SW-385.
During this change over a small, but unknown number of LP's, were released with transition labels. Known copies have the catalogue number SO-385 on the A-side and the catalogue number SW-385 on the B-side. It is possible there are copies with the reverse configuration - SW-385 on the A-side and SO-385 on the B-side.
The L.P. was pressed by both RCA and Compo for Capitol. This is a Compo pressing. The existence of transitional labels on an RCA pressing remains unknown.
